Lisa Baskin Wright/IEP Toolkit (25/26)

IEP Toolkit Program

The IEP Toolkit program will allow you to spend this school year feeling confident to advocate for your child and engage in a productive dialogue with your child's school team.

Over the course of a month, I will send you a daily email based on the week's theme, which will include links to resources, draft emails for you to adapt to your specific situation, templates for different formal communications, a neurodiversity affirming goal bank and answers to commonly asked questions.

You will also gain 1 month access to my Neurodiversity Affirming Parents Group's weekly office hour, where you can ask me questions about the week’s theme (or anything else that is on your mind). Office hours will be recorded so you can go back and watch if you are unable to join live.

The themes we will cover each week:

WEEK 1: Getting started in the IEP Process/opening up the lines of communication

WEEK 2: Unique Situations in the IEP process

WEEK 3: Negotiating challenges at the IEP table

WEEK 4: Goals and Accommodations

The IEP toolkit has been designed to be a digestible, actionable program at a reasonable price point, for busy parents. You will walk away from the month with the resources, links, and templates that you need to feel empowered to shift the trajectory of your child’s program.

I really hope that you will be able to join us and gain both the confidence and tools to ensure your child's IEP affirms who they are!
